Stawamus Chief Provincial Park

We are currently seeking F/T seasonal park workers for Stawamus Chief Provincial Park.

Positions will commence as soon as April 15 and throughout April, May and June and run until September or October.

Park Attendant
– Cleaning and maintenance of park facilities (including washroom cleaning, sites, toilets, garbage, beach areas)
– Fee collections
– Enforcement of the park act
– Other park duties as required
– Flexible work schedules, including some evenings and weekends.

Evening Compliance
– Patrolling the parkland areas to ensure park regulation and compliance
– Fee collection
– Providing information to & educating the public.
– Other park duties as required
– Shifts will include primarily evenings and weekends

All candidates should be mature, responsible and self-motivated, have a positive attitude and enjoy working outdoors with the public. Some relevant experience preferred, this includes work in the groundskeeping, janitorial, customer service, compliance/enforcement, and cash handling fields. A valid BC driver’s licence is also required.

Pay rate is $12.50-15.00 per hour. (Dependent on position and experience).

Porteau Cove Provincial Park

We are currently seeking F/T seasonal park workers for Porteau Cove Provincial Park.

Positions will commence as soon as April 5 and throughout April, May and June and run until September or October.

Park Attendant

Park Patrol
– Patrolling the parkland areas to ensure park regulation and compliance

– Shifts will include primarily evenings and weekends

Porteau Cove offers the opportunity to be involved in the planning and implementing of interpretive programming in the park. Involvement in interpretive programming is done on a volunteer basis outside of normal work hours.

Open Applications
