We’re currently hiring full-time seasonal Park Patrollers at Stawamus Chief Provincial Park.

Sea to Sky Parks, a subsidiary of Mt Seymour Resorts, operates provincial parks along the Sea to Sky Corridor and Fraser Valley. We provide high-quality campground and day-use experiences while preserving BC Parks’ legacy.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Park Manager, the Provincial Park Patroller is responsible for patrolling the parkland areas to ensure a safe, clean, and compliant park environment for our guests. Including but not limited to, monitoring what’s going on in the park and responding appropriately, ensure campers’ compliance and security by enforcing the BC Park Act regulations, conducting some janitorial duties, collecting camping fees, and other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

    • Patrol parkland areas to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment.
    • Cleaning campsites, outhouses, and park facilities
    • Garbage and recycling removal
    • Monitor Park activity and respond to guest needs.
    • Enforce BC Park Act regulations with a friendly, professional approach.
    • Collect camping fees and manage other park operations as needed.

    • Are comfortable with doing janitorial duties.
    • Are proactive, self-motivated, and dependable.
    • Enjoy physical activity and can sustain it for an 8-hour shift.

What We Require from You

    • Positive, friendly attitude in all weather conditions.
    • Full Class 5 BC driver’s license with a clean abstract.
    • Ability to follow direction and work independently.
    • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
    • Your own transportation to and from the park.
    • Open-mindedness and willingness to share ideas.
