About the Park

Murrin Provincial Park is located 9 kilometers south of Squamish beside Highway 99 between Vancouver and Whistler.

Browning Lake is the main feature of Murrin Park offering a great place for swimming, picnicking, fishing, and a nice walking trail around the lake. The various granite walls in the park are easily accessible and offer excellent climbing and bouldering opportunities.

Advisories

Park in designated spots – illegally parked vehicles will be towed.

Vehicles parked illegally at Murrin Provincial Park will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense. Visitors must park in designated parking lots and observe the “no parking” signs posted. Vehicles parked illegally in closed day-use areas will be charged a fee for gate unlocking. Thank you for your cooperation.

Operational Dates

Gate open from 7 am to 9 pm March 15 – May 7
Gate open from 7 am to 11 pm May 8 – September 15
Gate open from 7 am to 9 pm September 16 – October 15
Always open, unless snow level prevents access October 16 – March 14

Rates and Fees

No fees for day-use access
