Sea to Sky Parks is currently hiring full-time, short-term seasonal Park Operators to join our team at Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park.  Enjoy a unique seasonal work opportunity at Chilliwack Lake Park! This short-term position includes the opportunity to park your own RV on-site during employment. Employees who successfully complete the season in good standing will be offered an invitation to return and join us again for the following season.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Park Manager, Park Operators are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized park environment for our guests. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, public interaction, and being part of a team that takes pride in the parks they care for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning campsites, outhouses, and park facilities
  • Garbage and recycling removal
  • Collecting camping fees when required
  • Small landscaping, maintenance, and repair tasks
  • Conducting site inspections and reporting hazards or issues
  • Providing friendly, professional customer service to park visitors
  • Supporting visitor safety and incident response as needed
  • Operating tools and equipment safely
  • Following environmental, safety, and operational policies

What We Require from You

  • A positive, friendly attitude
  • Minimum Class 7 (N) driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
  • Ability to follow direction and work unsupervised
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Reliable transportation to and from the park
  • Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg) repeatedly, bending, crouching, and standing
  • Willingness to share ideas and communicate openly
