Sea to Sky Parks is a subsidiary of Mt Seymour and a park facility operator for BC Parks along the Sea to Sky Corridor and Fraser Valley. We are committed to providing safe, clean, and high-quality campground and day-use facilities while preserving the legacy of BC Parks.
Position Overview
As a Cashier, you are often the first point of contact for visitors. You’ll provide friendly, knowledgeable service while supporting the daily operations of the Welcome Centre. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in maintaining an organized space, and thrives in a dynamic outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a welcoming and positive experience for all visitors
- Process transactions accurately using an iPad-based POS system
- Handle cash and electronic payments with confidence and accuracy
- Share information about Shannon Falls, park amenities, and the surrounding Sea to Sky region
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked retail space
- Restock merchandise and ensure displays are visually appealing
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Assist with general upkeep of the Welcome Centre, including light cleaning
What You Bring
- A strong commitment to customer service and guest experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working independently and taking initiative
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Previous retail, tourism, or customer service experience is an asset
- Knowledge or interest in the Sea to Sky region and outdoor recreation is an asset
