Sasquatch Provincial Park is now open for the season.
Due to generator failure there will be no water at Hicks Lake except from the hand pump (near site #14 ) until further notice.
ATVs and other unlicensed motorbikes and vehicles are not allowed in the park.

Firewood can be purchased from a Park Attendant.
About Sasquatch
Sasquatch Provincial Park is located off Highway 7, approximately 6 kilometers north of Harrison Hot Springs.
Sasquatch Provincial Park is a great family destination. The park includes two lakes: Hicks Lake and Deer Lake. Activities include swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and other kinds of boating. There are three campgrounds in the park: Lakeside, Bench and Hick’s Lake. Lakeside Campground provides easy access to Deer Lake and features a playground and large lawn area right at the lakeshore. There is a boat launch at Deer Lake for small vessels. Hicks Lake Campground is located right on Hicks Lake. There is a volleyball net and grass area beside the lake. Hicks Lake also has a boat launch for small vessels. Please see BC Parks website for horsepower restrictions on the lakes.
There is one group campsite in the park with a large picnic shelter. The group site is located on the shore of Deer Lake.

Hicks boat launch dock – temporarily removed (2011-05-20)
The Hicks boat launch dock at Sasquatch Lake has been temporarily removed for repairs. We will keep you updated when all repairs have been made and when the dock has been reinstated.
